This major release delivers two significant new features: job notifications and application screening support, while removing settings that are no longer supported by Slack. It also ensures full compatibility with Matador Jobs Pro 4.0.0.

Release Notes

  • Enhancement: Job Notifications are now available. When a new job is imported, Matador can post a notification to a Slack channel. The notification includes the job title and optionally the Bullhorn link, WordPress link, application link, job category, job type, job location, and job description. Each detail can be toggled on or off in settings.
  • Enhancement: Application Screening is now supported in Slack notifications. When Application Screening is enabled in Matador settings, screening action buttons (Add, Apply, Reject) are included in application notifications by default. This behaviour can be toggled via the new ‘Include Application Screening Buttons’ setting.
  • Deprecation: The Avatar setting, which previously allowed an emoji avatar to be set for notifications, has been removed. This feature is no longer supported by Slack.
  • Deprecation: The ability to specify a Slack channel when sending a notification has been deprecated. Channel selection should now be configured directly within the Slack app’s incoming webhook settings.
  • Compatibility: Updated for full compatibility with Matador Jobs Pro 4.0.0.
